Easter is early this year - Good Friday falls on 3rd April and Easter Monday is 6th April. As well as a long weekend, Easter marks the start of two weeks off school for most families.

Chichester Canal Boat Trips
Cruise into the Easter holiday by booking a themed boat trip along the amazing Chichester Canal. Egg-cellent news! Northlands Farm in Chichester is running its farmyard Easter Eggstravaganza between 28th March and 12th April. Expect an easter egg hunt set across 20 acres, friendly animal interactions, activities, food and prizes. Tickets are from £7.60.
Animal & arts at Our Back Garden
Our Back Garden in Westbourne is opening its doors over Easter, with an exciting programme of events. There are arts and crafts sessions on 1st and 8th April, lamb meet-and-greets on 4th and 5th April, and regular alpaca walking experiences. Tickets are from £6.
Indoor Easter egg hunt at Bognor Regis Museum
You don’t have to let any wet weather rain on your parade this holiday. Bognor Regis Museum is holding daily indoor Easter egg hunts, which are free to attend. Turn up between 10am and 4pm from 31st March to 11th April.
Inspired by nature at The Weald & Downland Museum
A visit to The Weald & Downland Living Museum in Singleton is a great way to spend a day. Two weeks of family-friendly Easter holiday activities run between 28th March and 12th April, inspired by nature, folklore and rural traditions. You can learn how flowers were used as secret codes, take part in art sessions, watch ‘Mummers’ plays, meet the Green Man and his Flower Queen or hang out with the toys in Hambrook Barn.
Easter themed sessions at Bognor Regis Library
There are free Easter-themed events being held at Bognor Regis Library throughout the school holiday. Older children aged between 11 and 17 are invited to attend a special ‘Crafternoon’ session on 11th April. Just drop in any time between 2.30pm and 4.00pm.
Crafts workshops at The Phoenix Centre
Get creative at The Phoenix Centre in Bognor Regis on 1st and 2nd April. There are two, 2-hour crafts sessions each day, starting at 10am and 1pm, with opportunities to make friendship bracelets, pop-up Easter cards, bunny ornaments, decorated eggs, beaded keychains, fridge magnets and more. Each session costs £6 and booking is advised.
Sports camps at Arena Sports Centre
Easter sports camps are back at Bognor Regis’s Arena Sports Centre. Drop-off sessions run between 30th March and 2nd April, 9am until 3pm. Prices are £19.75 per day or all 4 sessions for £74, with a two-course hot meal included. Booking is essential.
Funfair & fireworks along Bognor’s seafront
Thrills, spills, ooohs and aahhs are guaranteed this holiday. The funfair will be in residence along Bognor Regis’s promenade during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, with a mesmerising display of fireworks from the pier on 4th April at 9pm.
Take your seats at The Chichester Festival Theatre
Sit back and be entertained at The Chichester Festival Theatre, where a well-reviewed production of The BFG is delighting theatre-goers. This Roald Dahl classic tells the story of Sophie and a dream-catching friendly giant. Performances include matinees and evening showings, running from 9th March to 11th April. Tickets are from £15.
